The course

Nuthatch Nonsense is a 15k trail race in Sand Run Metro Park with about 1,100' of gain.  There will be water at approximately the 1/2 way point.  Since it's always hot & humid for the summer race, it's advised that you carry a handheld water bottle.

Nuthatch & Dogwood

The Nuthatch and Dogwood trails traverse the Sand Run Metro Park.  You will also run part of the jogging trail and skirt the lower part of Seiberling Naturealm. 

The map

Nuthatch Nonsense starts and ends at the North Hawkins area of Sand Run Metro Park at 800 N Hawkins Ave., Akron 44313. The 2025 race is on Saturday, June 14 starting at 7:00 am.
